Biography
Kavi Halemane serves as the General Manager of Digital Programming for iHeartRadio, the all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service with more than 100 million registered users. Halemane is responsible for overseeing iHeartRadio’s strategy and operations for all music and digital station programming, on-demand streaming playlist curation, and podcast programming. In this position, Halemane oversees a team of expert programmers and works closely with iHeartRadio’s marketing, editorial and sales teams to connect music fans, partners and artists with exclusive iHeartRadio content.
Previously, Halemane served as the Vice President of Premiere Digital Media where he led the revamp of its digital network, an effort that helped to more than double Premiere’s digital audience in 2016. He also worked as the Executive Vice President and Head of Digital for The Collective, as well as the Vice President of Marketing for the company’s YouTube Multi-Channel Network, Studio71. In addition, Halemane has held a variety of digital, marketing and product management roles at Interscope Geffen A&M Records.
Halemane studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston graduating with bachelor degrees in Music Business/Management as well as Music Production and Engineering. In 2016, he was named Worldwide Radio Summit’s “Radio Company Online Executive of The Year” by All Access and A&R Worldwide. He currently resides in New York City.
